This year the Central Pennsylvania Rowing Association, in conjunction with the Sunbury River Festival and the Susquehanna Valley Tourism Bureau, are sponsoring the second annual Cardboard Regatta on the Susquehanna. So, join in the fun, race your cardboard boat, make it creative and colorful, and plan to get wet!
Cardboard regattas throughout the country and are very popular among water enthusiasts. We would like to share with you our love for the Susquehanna River and join with the community in celebrating this precious and valuable resource. Here’s a great way for families, friends, and groups & organizations to design and build a cardboard boat, beat the heat, and have fun at the end of the summer! Awards will be given to the winners in various categories! Join in the fun, race your creative and colorful cardboard boat, and plan to get wet!
